Our Beliefs

One True God

We believe that God has revealed Himself as the Creator of all things and the Saviour of mankind. We believe God is omniscient, omnipotent, infallible and manifested as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
(Gen. 1:1, Is. 43:11, Matt 28:19)

Scriptural Authority

We believe that the Old and New Testaments are the very Word of God, which is the final authority in a Christian's faith and practice.
(2 Tim. 3:15-17)

The Deity of God

We believe that the deity of God is shared by Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God. He was manifested as a man, conceived by the Virgin Mary through the Holy Spirit. He was sacrificed on the Cross, dying for our sin, and arose from the dead, ascending into Heaven to be seated at the right hand of the Father. He is now our High Priest and Advocate.
(Matt. 1:23)

The Fall of Man and the Orginal Sin

We believe that God created man in His image, but man fell into sin, causing Him to be lost. Only through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and His resurrection can man have Salvation. Salvation and spiritual life in Jesus Christ is obtained through the work of the Holy Spirit.
(Gen. 1-3)

Salvation by Faith

We believe that the free gift of grace from God, His Salvation and Redemption, can only be obtained through exercising faith, and not the works of the individual. It is only by the complete redemptive work of Jesus Christ.
(Eph. 2:8-9)

A New Creation in Christ

We believe that those in Christ are a new creation in the inward man. We are His workmanship and share in His divine nature.
(2 Cor. 5:17, Eph. 2:10, 2 Pet. 1:4)

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit

We believe that the Baptism and ministry of the Holy Spirit are to guide and empower believers for life and service as well as to give glory to Jesus Christ. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit takes place after the new birth, and one of the fruits of this experience is the manifestation of speaking with other tongues, as the Spirit of God gives utterance.
(Acts 2:1-2)

Divine Healing

We believe that the atonement of sins through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the Cross has provided not only Salvation, but also healing and prosperity.
(Matt. 8:16-17)

The Church - The Body of Christ

We believe that the Church of Jesus Christ is composed of all individuals who have been Born Again. Due to the new birth, believers are now united together in the Body of Christ. Jesus Christ is the High Priest, Lord, and Head of the Church.
(Eph. 1:22-23)

Water Baptism

All who believe in Jesus Christ as their Saviour and have been Born Again are commanded to be immersed in water as a declaration that they identify with the death of Christ and have been raised with Him in newness of life.
(Mark 16:16)

Lord's Supper

A symbolised expression of sharing in the divine nature of Jesus Christ and is taken in memory of His death and the prophecy of His second coming.
(1 Cor. 11:23-31)

Resurrection of the Saints

We believe that at an unknown time in the future, the whole Body of Christ will be taken up together to meet the Lord in the air and will forever be with the Lord.
(1 Thess. 4:13-18)

The Second Coming of Christ

We believe that this is the actual visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ, who will then establish His Kingdom and millennial reign upon the earth.
(Matt. 24:27-30)

Judgment Day

We believe that this will be the day when the wicked dead will be raised and judged with everlasting punishment.
(Rev. 20:11-15)
